Meet Elsa Elsa is an, approximately, 2-4 year old spayed female. She came in to rescue about 2 months ago with not very much information about her previous life. Her previous owner stated that she was around 2 years old but the vet has estimated her age at about 4 after a thorough evaluation. She did not present with any medical conditions other than that she was very underweight. Likely, because she was so underweight, her growth was slightly delayed or stunted. She currently weighs approximately 70 lbs and is at a much healthier place. Elsa came in to rescue with her "sister" and does have a few bad habits that she has been working on. She is very vocal and does bark, also she is learning about personal space when asking for attention. From what we can deduce she spent a lot of time without human companionship and that is something she is craving desperately. She also was likely physically abused as she does shy from quick movements but she is getting better with it. She has been great with children and other dogs. She has not been exposed to cats that we are aware of. She likes to play and would do best in a home that is slightly active or has another dog to play with. If you think Elsa may be a good addition to your family or if you have any questions please respond via email to [email protected].
