Welcome to the Inland Northwest Bernese Mountain Dog Club, founded in 1990, it is a dedicated community of Bernese Mountain Dog enthusiasts nestled in the breathtaking region of the Inland Northwest, including Montana, Idaho, Eastern Washington, and Eastern Oregon. With a shared passion for this majestic breed, our club brings together dog lovers, owners, and breeders who are committed to the well-being, preservation, and promotion of Bernese Mountain Dogs.
At the INWBMDC we recognize the importance of responsible dog ownership and breed stewardship. Our members are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care for our Berners, ensuring their physical and mental well-being. Through our shared knowledge and experiences, we strive to provide a supportive network where individuals can learn, grow, and navigate the joys and challenges of owning these magnificent dogs.
The club hosts a supported entry at the Lewiston, Idaho shows in April and a draft test in conjunction with the Helena, Montana cluster in September. And is part of the consortium that hosts the BMDCA National Speciality in the northwest region.
Whether you're a seasoned Bernese owner, a prospective puppy parent, or simply someone captivated by the breed's charm and grace, the INWBMDC welcomes you with open arms. Join us on this fulfilling journey, where you'll find lifelong friendships, support, and a community that shares your love for these wonderful dogs. Together, let's celebrate the beauty and spirit of Berners and create lasting memories in the heart of the Inland Northwest.
